California Tenetant Protection Ordinance

This poster was made as as part of a collection of infographics that would be apart of a booklet. I was in charge creating the page that provided information realting on which cities in California. In particulare I had to make it clear which cities follow the law have Tenant Protection but also add more information about how Claifornia made it’s own Tenant Protection Ordinance.

First Draft

This it first draft of this page involved a different mindset I had with how I wanted to get the information across. What I got was focusing on the building type the would benefit from a T.P.O program. However, For this particular version I found that it kinda lacks perspective on how this would affect people. The original purpose was to provide information for people to better understand Tenant Protection Ordinances in many cities state wide. The color of the page is not at eye catching as should be to get peoples attention.

Next Draft

Going back to the drawing board, I went with expanding the scope of which major cites by population. The amount of information provided weren’t susposed to be that in depth. I wanted to get the information clearly about the importance TPO and how California is one of a handful of states that implement in statewide. Through feed back went back and changed how the information was distriubted and got rid of some that isn’t necessary.

Final Version

This is the final iteration of the infographic. In this iteration I condensed, rearranged and cleared up clutter. Not only do reclair information. My project was set be the 4th page of the booklet so relevant information about what T.P.O was wasn’t needed so I leaned in more about it specific to California. I also got rid of the population numbers.
